Education in Historic Buildings Meet up: August 9-11, 2023

Ever wondered if anyone else has the same questions, issues, or ideas that come up as you run education in a stately home, castle, or historic building? Are you working on many fronts- education, events, visitors- and need a sounding board for best practices, innovation, and conversation? These are exactly the issues that the Knowledge Exchange is set up for.

Harlaxton College and Bader College are pleased to co-host the first of what we hope to be many Knowledge Exchanges for our space in the industry. This conference-style event will offer a variety of opportunities for participants to share and learn from each others’ experiences. We will have breakout sessions on different areas and topics. Once participants have registered, we will ask about the most pressing issues and what we can exchange on during our time together. We will also have some time to explore Harlaxton College to see how we make things work.

The program will be hosted at Harlaxton College, which is located just outside of Grantham, Lincolnshire. It will take place Wednesday-Friday, August 9-11, 2023. The per-person price will be £260 and includes accommodation in student-style rooms, all meals, and other activities and events as shown on the itinerary below. You can register below and then will receive an invoice for your participation, which will be due by the program start date.
