Your student will apply about 1 year before they want to go to Harlaxton! They will have a variety of materials to complete and read in their application portal throughout the semester before they depart. You can find more information on our student application information page.

Cost of a program at Harlaxton depends on the program and the home institution of your student. For our semester programs, you will want to work with your study abroad and financial aid office.  For our summer programs, you can find details on our programs pages.

For all our programs, students are responsible for booking their flights to/from the United Kingdom to arrive by 10am on the program start date and to check out on the program end date. Your student will receive details on their specific program dates and any group flight options during orientation.

Health insurance is provided for your student through our EIIA policy, and there are good options for your student’s health needs while at Harlaxton. You can find details about this on our student Health and Wellbeing page.

Your student will receive lots of information about options for using their cell phone and spending money while abroad in orientations. This is an important conversation that you will want to have with them about what will work best for the needs of your family, so start working with your student on this early!

Harlaxton programs provide lots of travel opportunities for students, and we also encourage them to pursue their curiosity in traveling independently with the support of our team.
